I get asked alot how I got started in Motocross yet I don't race..Well I got a
pitbike from my neighbor when I was 12. Marty had a much bigger dirt bike and
we used to go riding on the trails behind our house and along the railroad tracks.
We used to do all kinds of crazy stuff with our bikes. One Saturday Marty decided
to go riding in the gravel pits behind our house but I stayed behind. During the
afternoon I saw an ambulance and police head towards the pits. Later I got a call
from Martys mom asking me if I had heard about Marty.. He wrecked bad in the
pits and ended up in a body cast...Long story short  he sold his bike and I didn't
have anyone to ride with so I sold mine also. I didn't have much to do with the
sport until 2004.

In 2004 I attended a Motocross Race at our fairgrounds in Anoka, Minnesota and I
fell in love with the sport all over again. Jeff Oldenberg and the staff at Moto City
Raceway did an awesome job with that race.  It was through Jeff that I met Josh
and Joe Pirkola and their family.  I offered Josh and Joe a Website Sponsorship
and our friendship grew from there!

In 2005 I relocated to Neosho, Missouri working for a radio station. I hooked up
with SugarCreek Motocross Park and started producing a radio show for them
that aired every Saturday.  During that time I expanded our sponsorship program.
SugarCreek sold their land and I formed Xtreme Motocross Radio. Ive also been
asked to announce at various races including the Kemper Arenacross in Kansas
City, fill in announcer at SugarCreek MX,  fill in announcer at River Valley MX and
starting my second year of announcing at Elk River Motocross Park. I've also been
able to put my love of photography into use at the races, having had my photos
used by Holeshot Magazine, Vype Magazine, and ESPN Television.

Also in 2005 I purchased a Yamaha 125 bike and rode it at some of the tracks but
sold it 2 years later.

Motocross is my life. I love the sport and all the racers and families that make up
the sport.
